1:1 sessions are called Functional Integration

(FI for short). We focus on improving function and integrating it into daily life.

How does it help?

Functional Integration sessions can address a wide range of issues, including persistent pain, injury recovery, posture, and performance enhancement. By working directly with your brain and body through hands-on touch and movement, Functional Integration aims to create lasting changes in movement habits and promote overall well-being.

We start with a chat:

  • What are your movement goals? What would you love to achieve?

  • What’s holding you back?

  • If you could imagine how you would like to feel or sense yourself in the future, what would that be like?

In this conversation, we tailor your sessions to discover what you already do well and assess where there might be gaps in your movement knowledge and awareness.

What happens during a session?

During a Functional Integration session, I use gentle touch, movement, and verbal guidance to help you increase awareness of your movements, release tension, and improve overall function. I identify areas of restriction or inefficiency and provide hands-on guidance to facilitate more efficient and comfortable movement.
